“Everyone’s born with a creative gift. It’s a skill, you can learn it. But art hasn’t got anything to do with learning a skill or learning to draw – Art is about having something to say.”
In this Creative Cut film, Jane McAdam Freud, British sculptor and artist gives great insight into her creative process and her creative influences, be they conscious or subconscious.
Jane’s works are in both national and international public collections. She recently exhibited her lifetime’s work at the Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art in South Korea. She works from both her home studio and her artist in residence studio at Harrow School. She is the daughter of artist Lucian Freud and great-grand-daughter of Sigmund Freud.
