The third runway at Heathrow is NOT going ahead, no ifs, no buts.
Yet within his 3rd year of power he set up a Commission to look again at the question of a new runway. TellyJuice decided to take a stand, so we entered a competition that was organised by HACAN (Heathrow Association for Control of Aircraft Noise), Richmond Heathrow Campaign and Zac Goldsmith MP. This is the video we created to show why Heathrow expansion is the wrong answer.

Finalists
We made the final 10 and were invited to a presentation at the Richmond Theatre to meet the celebrity judges: Hugh Grant, Holly Willoughby, Nick Broomfield, Gyles Brandreth and Rachel Johnson. We didn’t win first place, but we got a special mention and Holly Willoughby said our video gave her goose bumps. Boris’ sister Rachel Johnson said it was “Perfect.”
The Production

The video is set in a hyper-real futurist landscape. We wanted to contrast the fantasy of an idyllic flying experience, with the harsh realities of what is being proposed for Heathrow.
Jason Attar, Writer and Actor of the video said,
Video is an incredibly powerful tool, it makes people stop and listen to important messages. Viewers can easily engage with video and it can be spread and shared quickly through social media. We made this video in our own time because it’s an issue that’s close to our hearts.
The motion graphics team worked really hard in their own time to create the landscape.
