Shelter From The Storm is London’s ONLY free homeless shelter, run by volunteers and funded entirely from donations alone. They provide a warm bed, a lovingly cooked dinner and breakfast for 36 guests, 18 men and 18 women a night, 365 days a year.
Last week, Shelter From The Storm held its annual fundraising dinner and art auction in Islington. Supported by TellyJuice, Senior Creative Olivia Emes gave her time and creative juices to make a video for Shelter From The Storm so they could play it at the dinner and encourage people to donate generously and bid well. The video made a huge impact and the evening raised over £30,000 for the charity.
