David Lan has won multiple Olivier Awards for his artistic direction of The Young Vic in London and been awarded CBE for his services to theatre. He trained as an actor and a social anthropologist and now uses his vast experience and creativity to write and direct plays not only in the Young Vic but in major theatres across the world.
In this short film David shares his personal creative journey and his views on the importance of the arts.
