If you suffer from back complaints, asthma or work shyness, last Tuesday was not a good day to be at TellyJuice.
Along with our moving company and plenty of other hired help, we dismantled and reassembled 22 work stations, put up 2 new walls, applied 30 litres of paint, laid over 1 mile of new cabling under the floor, set up a new phone system, furnished 2 new meeting rooms, cleaned 18 10 foot high windows, transferred 2 racks of machinery (the nucleus of all our work) polished 2000 square foot of flooring and wiped out the kitchen cupboards. Finally at 9pm we were plugged in, switched on and back in the game.
The Project Managers and Creatives, who were earlier deployed to the local coffee shops to continue work, finally returned to find their new desks (and no doubt search out the toilets after 8 hours of coffee consumption).
We’ve come a long way from the tiny cramped room above a knocking shop in Soho in which Jason and Niall squeezed their first desk. This is our 4th office and if we continue to grow as fast as we have been, it won’t be our last. But for now, we’re all excited about this next chapter of TellyJuice, in which we’ll make even more awesome short form videos.
We’re looking forward to meeting our neighbours around the Silicon Roundabout and can’t wait to invite our clients to our splendid big, spacious and light new office for a mooch around, once we’ve remembered which cupboard we keep the tea in…
